10. Svetlana Abrosimova
Svetlana Olegovna Abrosimova is at tenth position on the list of Top 10 Russian Female Basketball Players. She won 8 medals in international competitions for Russia. She was a member of the Russian national basketball team that participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Svetlana won a silver medal in the 1998 Basketball World Championship.

Since Hammon played during the WNBA season break for CSKA Moscow, she has the US and a Russian citizenship alongside since 2008.

Lidia Alexeeva is Soviet basketball player and professional coach. She is also a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. She ranked No. 5 in the list “Top 10 Russian Female Basketball Players”.
As a player, she has won in the women’s league of the USSR championship – in 1947, 1951, 1954, 1955 and 1956, USSR Cup in 1952 and European Championship in 1950, 1952, 1954 and 1956. (Playing for the national team of the USSR).
She was coach of the women’s national team of the USSR for 22 years (from 1962 to 1984), during which time the team won every competition. In particular, the team under her leadership won gold at the Olympic Games in 1976 and 1980, World Championships in 1964, 1967, 1971, 1975 and 1983. (USSR boycotted the tournament in 1979) and European championships in 1962, 1964, 1966, 1968, 1970, 1972, 1974, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1981 and 1983.
4. Elena Danilochkina
Elena (Alena) Igorevna Kirillov (Danilochkina) is a Russian professional basketball player serving the Russian basketball championship for BC Nadezhda (Orenburg) and the player of the national team of Russia. She plays at the position of defender. She hold the 4th position in our list of Top 10 Russian Female Basketball Players.
Elena Danilochkina was also a candidate for the Russian national team on a trip to the European Championships in 2007 , 2008 Olympics and the 2009 European Championship , but at the last moment it was not included in the application for the tournament.
