The Russian beauty laid into the striker by admitting: “Of course I prefer to be with someone, but with the right someone” when asked if she preferred to have a partner or be alone.

The pair got together at the start of 2010, after they allegedly met when they modelled together for the Armani Exchange campaigns.
They were also spotted getting flirty in May that year when Cristiano took Irina for a trip on a yacht before the start of the world cup.

The Real Madrid footballer became a father on June 17 to a mystery woman.
Ronaldo announced that he had been given full custody of the child, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, but has never publicly revealed the mother’s identity.
Reports have recently emerged that Cristiano’s own mother Dolores was never happy with Irina as a mother for her grandchild.
A source said: “Dolores wanted someone who would assume the role of mum for Cristiano Jr.
“That was not priority for Irina.”

Couple get engaged
Irina showed off her huge engagement ring in November 2011, when she was by Cristiano’s as he collected the Golden Boot Award in Madrid.
The massive rock was quoted to be worth tens of thousands of pounds – no surprise when you consider what Ronaldo earns per week as one of the world’s top fooballers.
The date of their engagement remains unknown although it was rumoured that the couple had got engaged months earlier, when Ronaldo proposed on Valentine’s Day.

The red-faced footballer was caught out when he accidentally emailed sexy pictures sent by a fan to everyone in his address book – including his model fiancée.
Cristiano claimed he was supposed to hit the ‘delete’ button, but accidentally pressed ‘forward’ instead.
Apparently, Irina was fine about the whole thing and never confronted the football ace about his massive media gaff.

The pair were pictured together at the Madrid Open in 2012 looking very much in love.
Irina supported Ronaldo at numerous public events, including the FIFA Ballon d’Or.
The supermodel also was rumoured to be spending more and more time with Cristiano and his family, especially his son Cristiano Jr.

Cheating allegations
In April 2013, rumours emerged that Ronaldo had cheated on Irina with a Brazilian model known as Miss Bum Bum (real name Andressa Urach.)
The footballer was furious after the claims emerged and furiously denied all the allegations via his Twitter account.
He claimed he was actually giving an interview at the time of the alleged affair.

Happy families
Irina joins Ronaldo and his son in January 2014 as the footballer attends the FIFA Ballon d’Or awards in Zurich.
The Portugal player picked up the award after losing out in two previous years to Barcelona ace Lionel Messi.
The family were pictured looking happy and relaxed as they posed together on the red carpet.
Still no marriage plans
In September 2014, Ronaldo admitted in an interview that he wasn’t ready to marry his Russian model girlfriend.
Speaking to a Portuguese television station he revealed that he was too young to tie the knot.
“Like any normal person I want to get married, but it’s a very important step,” he said. “I’m young and I’m not ready yet.”

Twitter unfollow
One of the sure signs that a relationship is on the rocks – a Twitter unfollow.
Rumours started flying that Irina had dumped her man after the Russian beauty elected to ignore Cristiano on social media.
She was also absent at the Ballon d’Or ceremony when Ronaldo picked up his second award in two years – where he also omitted his long-term partner from his acceptance speech.
Break up
On January 16, news emerged that the footballer had dumped his model girlfriend after she refused to attend a surprise birthday celebration for his mum.
The row between the couple was the end of their relationship of nearly five years.
Neither party has commented officially on the allegations.
