Vangeliya Rachkovska, born on July 19, 1997, in Plovdiv, is a prominent Bulgarian volleyball player specializing as a receiver. Standing tall at 185 cm, she has made a mark in both club and national representation. Currently playing as an outside hitter for TED Ankara Kolejliler in Turkey, Raczkowska’s senior career has been marked by contributions to various clubs. In terms of her representative career, Raczkowska has been a valuable asset to the Bulgarian national team.

Vangeliya Rachkovska is one of the most talented volleyball players of Maritsa (Plovdiv), and during the finals of the state championship for senior girls, she was chosen as the best service performer. He is also a key part of the national team (U20), which finished in eighth place at the World Cup in Puerto Rico.

Vangelia finished in second place after the second round of the Miss BGvolleyball.com 2015 pageant , and in the final phase, each of the contenders must answer a series of questions to reflect on and show a little imagination.

Why should people vote for you?

Beauty is basically a subjective concept. I think that once they get to this stage of the competition, all the girls deserve to win it.

But since every competition is a kind of competition, it is natural that I am ambitious to win it.

Besides volleyball skills, what other talents do you have?

I can say that I can draw. I also practice other types of sports – court tennis, table tennis and horse riding. I also played the piano as a child, but did not develop this talent further.

If you were to compare your life to a movie, what would the title be?

Undercover.

How many hours of physical education per week should there be for children at school?

Every day or at least four times a week.

How do you see yourself as a politician and what is the first thing you will do?

I don’t see myself as a politician at all, but if I were, I would work to improve the lives of disadvantaged people and pensioners.

Who is Bulgaria’s greatest national hero and why?

In my opinion, this is the Apostle of Freedom, Vasil Levski. I bow to the fact that he gave his strength and his life for the cause of Bulgaria becoming a pure and holy republic in which everyone has equal rights, regardless of their nationality and religion.

David or Goliath?

I prefer David because … no matter how important strength is, in any battle qualities such as intelligence, cunning and accuracy are needed, with which even the little man can defeat the giant.

If you get a flat tire on the road, what will you do?

I’m not a driver yet, but I’m going to change it.

Describe your funniest incident in volleyball.

Well, I was left after practice to attack and my friend Silvana picked up the ball for me in the other field. I jumped to attack her (I can’t describe exactly how it happened), got tangled in the net, spun around somehow and fell on the other side on my back.
